最近有无公民朋友入境美国，是用公民卡进去的？

劳工节到了，发现护照过期了。想开车去美买买东西，不知光用公民卡可以否？哪位给介绍一下？ 谢谢。

• a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's licence
  AND a birth certificate or a citizenship card;
  OR
• for persons aged 18 and under, a birth certificate or a citizenship card only;
  OR
• a valid passport.

You just presented USA bordor your Canadian citizenship card without driver's license at the same time? Any fingerprint checking? Thx.

ONLY citizenship card is enough! I have been to USA many many times, never being asked for fingerprint checking. But if you don't have citizenship and by Visa, usually you would be asked for that checking.

只用驾照和出生证可以开车去美国吗？
听说从2008年1月以后加拿大公民也要用护照 ，不是真得吗？

I dont understand why people dont do any research. Even answers are given, they still asking.
