JOB SUMMARY: Coordinate and execute accounting for Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to and works directly under the supervision of the Executive Director
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Entering payables, receivables, payroll, government remittance, and bank remittance • Balancing ticket sales and all revenue • Coordinate artist deposits and bank wires • Coordinate onsite artist payments • Coordinate onsite volunteer team • Balancing onsite daily cash receipts and sales • All other duties as assigned
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office & Simply Accounting
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Proven success multi-tasking in a high pressure environment
• Proven ability to think creatively and strategically
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bilingualism is an asset
