Dear members of UOCSA, fellow citizens and friends,
I am pleased to inform you that we (a few friends of mine and I) are in the process of setting up an investment club (Investment Club 1898). We primarily aim to provide an opportunity for like-minded folks to meet, and to further develop skills and professionalism in the field of investment and finance.
As a Chinese myself, I realized that there are many professional associations and club out there, but few of them suits us due to, among others, cultural differences. Therefore, we would like to provide you a place where you feel comfortable and educate yourself at the same time.
Our Targeted Audience: folks who are majored/interested in finance, or want to take CFA, CFP etc. We are currently looking for five to eight ACTIVE members. If you could see yourself working for an investment bank/broker, a mutual fund, or an insurance company, or even becoming an individual investor. Joining the club is the first step toward this formidable career perspective.
