Here's a neat, free offer from Shoppers Drug Mart -- if you have a Shoppers Optimum Card and you sign up to receive email about Shoppers Optimum offers, you will be credited with 1000 Optimum Points! Note that the fine print: "One-time offer, points awarded only to customers providing an e-mail address for the first time. Points will be awarded to your account within 14 days." We're not sure if you will receive the bonus points if you are "updating" your existing email address, but there's no harm in trying.
