I hope that you have all had an amazing summer and have all adjusted to your hectic fall schedules with school and extracurricular activities starting back!
I am pleased to give you a heads up with some information about our fall 2008 sale.
I am very happy to tell everyone that this is our 3rd year running our event at the Glebe Community Center and it has been an absolute success for all involved! I can’t believe that we are into our 6th event already. I have been swamped with calls and emails from attendees of the show who either want to consign with us or take part as a vendor at our event.
Our fall sale will be fast approaching as it will be a very busy season with back to school, Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas around the corner. We are going to continue to host our sale at The Glebe Community Center. We will be adding more racks Again this season for additional display space. We will again be collecting for The Ottawa Food Bank and The Ottawa Snow Suit Fund. If anyone knows of another needy charity who would benefit from our donations please pass that information on to me as soon as you can. We will also be hosting the Ottawa Police Child Finger Printing Service and Little Rays Reptiles will be performing again.
For all previous consignors who wish to participate with My Kids Funky Closet Consignment Sale you will be given the first opportunity to register before any new consignors. With the amount of interest from new consignors I have had to start a waiting list of people who want to be part of our event. You will all have the first opportunity to register and keep your past consignor number. I have decided to allow friends and families of our previous consignors to participate before I accept new registrations from my waiting list. The space for consignors is limited so please register asap and have your family and friends register this week as well. Please have them put your name as a referral in the comments section of the registration form.Therefore, all previous consignors from the spring 2008 sale will have their consignor number reserved till Sunday September 14th 2008. After that date your consignor number will be terminated and your number will be released to a new consignor. The date for the new sale is Sunday October 19th 2008 from 10:00am – 3:00pm and volunteers can attend the preview sale on Sunday October 19th 2008 from 9:30am - 10:00am as we did last season.
Volunteers for the early bird set up on Sunday October 19th will also be able to pre shop before the preview sale again this year.
