最新消息，政府给了新offer，公交暂时不罢工了！

我觉得不必为此事过于着急或是过于欣喜若狂，只作一个看客静观事态发展。联邦政府的大小人物们很多依赖公车上下班，比咱们重要得多，也着急得多，这事他们能袖手旁观吗？这里的公车罢工绝对不会发展到象多伦多那样，说来说去不就是一个钱的问题吗？

不好意思，97年我还没来这里，所以不敢以老华侨自居。上面只是我的想法，而不是什么经验之谈，我感觉我的这些想法有一定的合理性。

Business as usual at OC Transpo - Union to vote on City's offer
Ottawa - Transit services will operate on a regular schedule tomorrow as the Union representing bus and O-train drivers, mechanics and other transit workers, tonight agreed to take the City? final contract offer to a vote of its membership.

?e are confident that the membership will see this final offer as fair to them as transit employees, responsive to transit customers and reasonable for taxpayers,?said Rosemarie Leclair, General Manager, Transportation Utilities and Public Works.

不好意思:blowzy: 那次我在罢工前赶紧买了辆破车开。我的一些没车的同事都是carpool来上班的。

找carpool贴广告比较有效：
1。在自己住的楼里贴
2。在上学、上班的地方贴
3。broadcast email给同事、同学。
说明你的时间、起止地点，说明你愿意share gas cost。

你会很惊讶地发现，你的同学、同事就是你的邻居

I'm not sure it is in 97. maybe 96? but the strike from canada post that year gave me too many trouble. I lost mails to my family and the pay check from warefare. damn, hate all strikes.
