请教：地板是选oak还是maple好？

现在在选新房的地板，builder给了credit是可以oak地板免费。其他就要加钱。我觉得给得那种nature oak的颜色花纹还可以，可lp不太喜欢，她想换成花纹细少的maple。因为只有不多的地方铺地板，其他都是地毯。值得花3000刀换吗？

本来oak的花纹是比maple漂亮的(有相当的一些人这样认为),maple的花纹很细小不明显.但是由于这些年来很多家安装的都是oak而且是natual oak的金黄色,所以对金黄色的natual oak产生了一点审美疲劳. 所以近几年喜欢Maple花纹的又有点多了起来.

一般讲,喜欢oak的人,是喜欢那种天然纹路的视觉. 而喜欢Maple的人实际上是有一点点怕眼乱的. 你要图了你LP高兴,就多花3000,也是值得的. 问题是有多大面积? 哪里能有这么大的差价?

如果你LP只是不喜欢natual oak的金黄色,而能接受木纹. 我可以把oak染成你们俩都喜欢的颜色,这样一来你们就省一大笔了.其实所有的maple,oak地板的各种颜色都是染出来的.

听说OAK的比Maple硬些。现在的用家喜欢maple。 这就取决于你怎么挑选了。

当初我家决定铺硬木地板时，商店经理说maple比较popular。而且枣红色显得富贵。结果我们选了maple。但是作完后，好看是好看，只是觉得颜色深了些，对采光要求很强。下次再选，我会选颜色浅一点的。只想建议LZ，一开始就想好颜色，不要指着将来再改换。那可不是容易的事。如果已有的家具多是深色的，地板浅色为好。Good luck!

如果就只是400平尺,按oak和Maple每平尺1.5的差价计算(1块的差价都可以了),600块差价就够了.3000块够补2000平尺的木地板的差价,也就是说一个3000平方尺的房子除了橱房,卫生间等处不铺木地板外,才会有这么大的差价.

Unfortunately yours is DIY price, builders do not charge that way. Based on my experience, from oak/ash to maple is one grade up, and typically builders charge $3 per square ft for the upgrade. Apart from that, if you upgrade to maple, normally the railings and spindles for stairs need to upgrade as well, that's another ~$1,500...

Looks to me natural oak is very easy to be UV damaged, that's why we always feel natural oak is yellowish after a few years.

If I were you, I'd choose oak with walnut color. Creates a calm, tranquil mood. no extra cost and beautiful..
Remember the major factor is color, not 花纹. Also a matching color of carpet is important for a consistant, smooth transition.

I am a floor contractor. The labor of maple floor installation is the same price as the oak floor installation. The only diference is the material cost. It is not a DIY price. The price is labor plus material.$3 is not resonable. They are not honest.
