you can call them first. It's cheap for car insurance, the house insurance is a little expensive.
you don't need to go there, just call them, they will ask you some questions about the apartment, then will give you the quotation. if you are satisfied with it, they will mail or fax you the document, and you can show it to the landlord as a proof.
