请问冬天是否可以更换屋顶？

准备买一套房子，前房主同意明年交房之前更换屋顶，这也就意味着他会在冬天更换屋顶，请问冬天更换屋顶是否合适？是否会影响质量？

另外请问屋顶的保质期通常是多长时间？

It seems not OK 冬天更换屋顶. I remembered my contractor told me that the temperature should be in the range 10-25 degree, not too hot, and not too cold for a quality work.
Actually, you can ask the seller either to deduct the equivalent price, or to give you the same amount cash for you to fix yourself (around $3000-5000 for a roof work). Unless he could DIY.
The warrant usually lasts for 25-40 years, but the roof is really for around 15 years only.

Agreed!!!

Ask for a price reduction and hire someone to do in the summer. Don't forget to include ice and water shield when you put down new shingles. It costs a little extra but it protect your roof big time.
