If it is copper pipe (1/2" or 3/4" diameter), I can fix it for you. You could reach me at 647-210-6618 after 6pm.

No, It is not the copper one, it is the plastic one.
for somehow, there is a very small hole there. the water leaking is very very slow. It is not worth to change the entire pipe. I remember there is a kind of material on TV ad which can be attached on the outside of pipe, but I forget the name. The house is just 3 years new. Warrenty is expired.

there is one that you can purchase at homedepot. just ask person there, you need one material to cover the hole. i used before, it is pretty good. but sorry, i forgot the name.

Head over to Home Depot, and get youself some Expoxy. Choose the one for marine use (boat).

Turn off the water main, clean off the pipe. Mix the expoxy (2 ingredients) together (take out what you need and make sure one ingredient don't touch or mix with the other), mix well and it will become a paste. Spread it over the leaking area. The paste will harden in a matter of mintue and will stop the leak.

You mention you saw something on TV, well it is the same thing only they are selling 3 to 4 times more expensive. At Home Depot you can get it for around $6.

I used it on my washing machine because I found a small hole on the outside of the washing chamber. The hole caused a small leak. The expoxy did the job and saving me a few hundred of dollars. It been 10 months now and I see no leak.

Good luck

Go homedepot and tell them you want to replace section of the pipe. Tell them the size of the pipe. They would give you a pipe and two crash connectors. You just cut leaking section and replace it. It is a more stable fix. Just remember don't over tight the crash connector.

thanks a lot for all responses,

Thanks, this method may be a permanent fix, does this method need special tools? I guess it may need some, but I do not have any.

Do you think it is a good way to fix it using paste? it sounds easier and cheaper fix.
