挺傻/MMB, 能介绍一下要什么条件才能拿到PRIME的RATE(例如存款额什么的?)?现在他们给我的是PRIME + 4%,是不是找个ACCOUNT MANAGER 什么的就能给降下来?谢过.

Secured PLC was usually at the prime rate until two month ago. Since October 2008, the banks gives the prime + 1% since Bank of Canada has lowered its prime rate very sharply.

Credit card rates are usually very high. So, never borrow or have balance in your credit card.

Line of credit的钱可以当现金用！ 可以直接传到CHEQUEING 帐户，用来支付各种东西。觉得当现金不够时，LINE OF CREDIT时很好的应急选择。 利息比信用卡低,7％ vs 20％。 而且没有FEE。但千万别当自己的钱来用，那是信用，借来的钱。

If you have your line-of-credit with TD before they introduced prime+x%, yours should be at prime. The current prime rate for line-of-credit is 3% as of Feb 1/09 for TD.
