You could replace 铆钉 with srew and a bolt. Home depot has them, very cheap. the old 铆钉 could be drilled out using electric drill. For door, there is high temperture paint aviable for fireplace. You can ask around in Canadian tire or fireplace pro shop. Just repaint the door.
