We found that our hardwood flooring was buckling here and there before closing with our builder. I understand that the buckling may be caused by the humidity change inside the house, but, is this really normal? They have only installed the flooring in about 3 weeks ago, and it already started buckling?

If this is acceptable, how long should we wait to file our complain? Assuming we will maintain our house temperature and humidity, but the hardwood flooring has no sign of getting back to "Normal".

We can't do anything... I mean if we are professional in wood installing that kind of things, we can argue with our knowledge and experience, but obviously we are just regular home buyers, we are weak to argue in front of the manager even though our side of the story is more reasonable. What I really worry is, the builder refuses to fix it after we move in (even we have prove that we maintain the humidity of the house for a period of time according to what they say) and we will have to live with the expensive buckling hardwood. We really need some serious help here
