NAV CANADA is a privately run, not-for-profit organization that operates Canada's civil air navigation service (ANS) and employs approximately 2,000 air traffic controllers (ATCs), 800 flight service specialists (FSSs) and 700 Technologists. It has been responsible for the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic in Canadian airspace since receiving this duty from Transport Canada in 1996. NAV CANADA remains a non share capital, not for profit, organization even though it operates independently of government funding. It is headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario.
As far as I can see, it seems a very stable place to work.

I am working in Nav Canada.
It is an unionzied company, everything is almost the same as that in goverment.
BTW:
it was splitted from Transport Canada 12 years ago.
About "工作环境，工资高低，工作压力", because it has union, everything is okay under Collective Agreement
About "工作稳定保障", since it is monopolize company and working in the area related to the country space and air travel security , Canada goverment has a special Act to control it bussiness. nothing 100% stable, but you can have your own answer for this question.
About the travel another guy mentioned here. NOT all projects, we have only one commericial team which is doing commericial project, all of others are support domestic: all airports control tower and radar stations every where in canada , all flights , no matter which company, if it flies acorss the space controled by us( which means almost all flights from US to Eu or Asia, or V.V.) , or stops at any airport, have to pay fee to us ....
about 90% employees are Air traffic controlers or related, 8% are computer/dev related , others are admin.
Riverside office is the technical Service center not the HC office.
