Help: reinforcement for auto garage door

有高人知道怎么做这个加固架吗？ 网上找了一圈，没发现DIY， 去home depot 问了，说这个要自己做，没有现成的卖。

天气太冷了，车库门下面经常有结冰，就怕某天不知道把车库们给废了。

You can buy reinforcement brackets from "the door company". This is the company that installed my garage doors. I bought two brackets ($15 each) and installed them myself. The very top panel needs to be re-enforced too. A long steel bar has to be in place first. The vertical piece from The Door Company needs to be screwed onto that long piece.

Luvmonbora, where did you buy the long steel bar for the top panel?

It is not a bar, but a 7 feet angle, I bought one at homedepot yesterday. You can also buy vertical reinforcement at homedepot as well, the same angle but shorter and cut the length to suit. $ 9.99 each.

Just so you know, the bracket from The Door Company is adjustable in length, so you don't have to cut anything.
