I had build a web project in NT environment(ASP,MTS,SQL Server, and IE 5/5.5) a while ago, and it was running fine.

Recently, all NT workstations are upgraded to Windows XP; and IE 6 is the default version of the internet browser. When starting up this web app in XP, everything goes well except one thing: there are quite a lot of question marks in several ASP pages.

I am in the process of identifying whether this is caused by IE 6 or XP; but, would you please share the secret and solution to this issue?

Thanks!

It is "?" because I used a special expression(ampersand and well and 160) in the XSL file to represent a single space for HTML display. Somehow, this special expression is not recognized in the most recent version of IE.

What I found out just a moment ago is that IE 6 Version: 6.0.2600.0000 works fine but IE 6.0.2800.1106 (The most recent update) does not.

That is the update. I am still looking for the solution to allow IE 5 or above to work with these ASP pages. So, any ideas are welcomed and appreciated!
