OK, enough is enough. I can handle the strike affecting my work schedule. I can handle the strike affecting my social life. I can even handle the strike affecting my commute to work and the ensuing parking nightmare.
BUT, I cannot handle the strike affecting my sex life! I'm forced to get up far too early every morning and I'm exhausted every evening.
I say this half jokingly, but in all seriousness the strike is affecting almost everyone in Ottawa (some much more serious than others) and it's time we put an end to it. It's time for forced, binding arbitration. Clearly the union and the city cannot resolve these issues on their own.
