Windows XP shut down update cannot finish

Hi All,

I have a problem with my laptop. When I turn off my computer, the system automatic updates. It displays " updates are being installed (2 of 4), don't turn off the power". But after whole night, it still not shut down. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks.

谢谢. Windows update 是自动运行的. 我并没有执行update. 在这种情况下怎样执行Windows Update (我的系统是Windows Xp Home edition with sp2)?

If it bothers you, simply turn off Windows auto update or set it to Notify me when updates are available (not exact wording though).
