<HTML>上周六,我贪便宜在HOLLAND的西柏PC店买了一台AMD1G/256M/40G/17“/CDRW/V90/10/100M(不含SW), 价值$1280,相对于洋人店便宜$80, 当我回家装完中文98后发现声卡没有声音,找他们说“ 你拿来再说“, 我拿去后他们又装
一个英文WIN98, 声卡能发声,这时他们说:PC HW没问题,你得负$25的检测费。我的中文98在其他的机器上声卡都没问题。显而易见,声卡不能在中文98/2000下工作。他们讲:我不保证在中文系统下,有问题找MICROSOFT。可是声卡程序是HW附带的。我想退货,他们讲:可以,你得付20%的退货费,同时你得付这$25的检测费。
他妈的,这香港人开的店怎能这样?什么是服务?

我该怎么办?

There should be a "Better Business Bureau" in your area. Look it up in the
phone book and you will prob. find it there. I don't know what type of
complaint you have but they are there to monitor companies to look out for
the best interests of the public.

You might also try the Better Business Bureau, although that's only for
companies that belong to that organization, and not all companies do.

There's also people on the local newscasts, like CFRN-TV has "The People
Helper", Global has the "Troubleshooter", and so on. Good luck.

而且也是中文的NT,当时modem就不能work,我们打电话跟他说,他们第二天就换了
一个modem给我们(亲自送上门的),结果还是不行,后来他们说‘他们去订另一个
品牌的modem,再让我们等几天’,几天后,他们也主动打电话给我们,
跟我们约时间,他们上门帮我们安装,到现在为止,都还没出现问题。
我再说说洋人的店,刚来到加拿大的时候,都抱着不相信人的态度,都认为中国人的老板宰中国新移民一定很厉害,所以我到很多家洋人店去比较价钱,终于在一个叫sicom的洋店买了个显卡,结果待我在西柏买了电脑后,发现我的显卡有问题,
我要拿回去退,没想到关门了(那天是星期六),我以为老外星期六都不做生意的,
又等到星期一,顶着大太阳,结果整个店都没有了,只有几张桌子和几个破盒子,
所以,洋人店也未必靠的住。
后来,我才知道很多人都给西柏买电脑的,都觉得满意,(当然没有象在国内那样
砍价砍的那么爽了)

<HTML>Thanks for your respones, I have solved this problem by myself to install other sound card driver program by internet. of course, I will address bureau and tell them the truth.

Marc, your chance is very good. After I pay $100 downpay, they said they would delivered next day, but after 3 days(4th day), they call me,Ok now, please back my shop and then test it. I stay in there from 3PM to 6:30 PM,they said I am sorry, because we have not driver now, we will deliever it after 7PM, I say why you call me back to shop at 3PM and you will deliever it then. It let me stay here to 7PM.

After I used it 3rd day, I found the problem, I call them and I ask service, they said I must take PC to shop by myself,after I take bus to the shop. they explain they have not warrant for chinese windows,
the only warrant is for english windows. if there are problems, I should ask Microsoft compay to solve it. If I want to check PC HW ,
I must pay $25 test fee. I say no problem I can pay $25. after that,
they said chinese windows is not included in warrant, I want to refund it, Ok it is up to you, please pay 20% (about $300).

I just posted it here to tell the others, let them alert this kind problem, before you pay money, think about it.

Never buy anything from PC Cyber.net. It is my word, of course, you can try it, pray god not occur this kind problem.

2。“sicom的洋店买了个显卡,结果待我在西柏买了电脑后,发现我的显卡有问题”,你在西柏买电脑就应该把显卡给他们,试多几种主板,应该可以找到适配的。在没给钱之前,他们肯帮你做好多免费服务,更别说是“很多人满意”的店了。
3。另外单买显卡也有用吗,后来才买电脑?

5。”他们第二天就换了一个modem给我们(亲自送上门的),结果还是不行,后来他们说‘他们去订另一个品牌的modem,再让我们等几天’,几天后,他们也主动打电话给我们,跟我们约时间,他们上门帮我们安装“,服务真是太好了,我还不知道加拿大有这么好的服务(包括所有服务行业)。他们能换个MODEM给你,你打电话给他,他帮你订另一个也可能(他可是有风险的,另一个还不行怎办,店一般只做几种MODEM,如果店里没有帮你专订另一个品牌,真挺难的),还打电话给你,帮你安装(你自己装中文WIN的话,他应该不会帮你去装配件DRIVER的,而且还上门,这里人工可贵了,他还卖那么便宜,好难赚钱。)。配电脑件可是一件很花时间的活,除非按他的配置和软件,他不会保证你,但一般可以把其它牌子的都给你拿去试(国内也只能如此,店可要卖好多电脑的,人手也不会多)。</HTML>
