I have applied for “The Best Job in the World” which, for those of you who haven’t heard about it, is a promotion by Tourism Queensland where you get to live on a tourist island in the Great Barrier Reef for 6 months and blog about it.
The application is a 60 second video which I have the link to below and, thanks to my brother Eric’s camera and editing work, it looks pretty good:

The video is supposed to be entertaining, show why you are the person for the job and demonstrate your knowledge of the reef.
Please take 1 minute to watch the video and rate me 5 stars if you like it. I would appreciate it if you would also forward it to your friends and family and put a link on your webpage, blog, etc to it if you have one. The more people that see it and rate it, the more likely I will get noticed.
This rating does not actually count officially, but if I am one of the 50 people short listed for the next round, I will be sending you 1 more email (just 1 I promise) asking you to vote for me in the official round, between March 2-24.

PS. If anyone happens to know Shana Pereira who is the Director for Tourism Queensland in Los Angeles, let me know, I believe she is responsible for creating the shortlist for the Americas applicants.
