Gloucester like Vanier is not a safe area in Ottawa. Houses are relatively cheap. It may be better for you to send your children to school everyday.

You are kidding

West Gloucester between st-laurent and aviation is bad area, but I believe students there shall be 'Gloucester High' 高中学区. Becon hill/wood ( **Colonel By )area is very good area but house price are quiet expensive. It is much higher than areas nearby. Many millions house are around. Single house are expensive, price for townhouse is OK but size are small and old. No new single house, a few of new townhouse cost around 270k-300k. Becon Hill north and Becon wood is better than Becon hill south.

**Colonel By 校区是Blair Rd 以南, Montreal Rd 以北, Shefford Rd 以西一小块区域. 查mls, 的确如楼上所述, 这个区域有很多现在列出来的几个million的房子. 普通的70年代的single house价格是32~40万. 查过这个区的有些房子的交易历史, 从99年到2009年, 10年时间房价翻了一翻.

Rockcliff may be the best area in Ottawa. This does not mean Vanier is a good area. Will you guys buy a million house for your children to go to Cononel By?
