HDTV Receiver Question

I have a HD ready TV which only has a built-in NTSC receiver. I am using the a new LCD HDTV to receive the HD channels. Currently, there are three HD channels in Ottawa. They are CBC, English and French and SUNTV.

I would like to have a receiver to connect to the HD ready TV with HDMI or component video for 1080i output to the TV. Currently, it is very hard to find these kind receivers. Most receivers have S-video, composite video output from the ATSC receiver. I recently ordered one from US. It is made in Taiwan. It was not working. I returned it within right away.

Is there anyone who had experience in getting a HD receiver?

可以买一个receiver，然后买一条输出cable，一头是receiver的接口型式、一头是HDMI口就可以吧。比如你买一个HD receiver带DVI口，然后买一条DVI转HDMI的线应该就没有问题了。我的电视component、s-video、component、DVI、HDMI都可以。
