There are about 30% people are French at Orlean. But don't worry about it, most of them speaks better english than us. Average family income is more than 100k. Many people (Maybe half?) work for government. Nice and safe area.

Traffic was terrible when bus driver on stike. Other time isn't worse then Kanata. Not sure compare to Barhaven, although we all know Barhaven's traffic is worse and worse and for sure even worse in the future except major road reconstruction.

Public traffic is good since reserved bus line to downtown.

If you are IT guys then may not good idea given you could get job in Kanata later on.

Kanata's traffic is the worst.

So, no good location than center city, haha.

Talking about Kanata, now is terrible time. But when good time come, canata would be the location for new jobs. The reason is very simply,
when you need new and bigger office, Canata is the only location in Ottawa could offer a lot of available office area. Which means really bad now though. haha.

The federal government will move around $30K employees to Kanata. I guess the house price in Kanata will drop a little bit this year, but will bounce back after these government people come.
