2岁小孩上什么样的daycare?

从来没有做过这方面的功课。。。惭愧。。。

请教各位妈妈啦！不知道2岁-2岁半左右的小孩上哪种daycare呢？要多少钱呢？

另外听说公立的daycare要排队？不知道现在排什么时候能上呢？还有daycare的时间是怎样的？2个人都上班，不知道几点送去几点接？要给宝宝准备去daycare吃的东西还有diaper什么的吗？

public daycare has a very long waiting list. My daughter waited for 2 years for the space. public daycare cost around $50 a day before 2 and half years old. 30-40 per day after 2 and half years old. most day care runs more than 9 hours and give the parents enough time to pick up. usually day care supply food but not diaper and wipers.There are some private day care (not home care) can give you space anytime but very expensive.

这个表是什么意思啊。 从这个表上来看，家庭年收入7万的daycare 费用是913。刚才看见有个朋友写的2岁半以后30-40一天，算起来一个月不就是8、900块吗？ 那还有什么subsidy? 还有收入更高些的，一个月1000多？ 难道不给你subsidy还要你多给钱？

2岁半开始，班级叫preschool。选择会多很多，不大需要批队，除非你较为拣择。因为政府对这年龄的nursery school或daycare限制少很多。

一岁半到两岁的班级叫toddler。政府对这年龄的daycare限制还是颇多，所以也不容易找。

四岁开始叫JK，这很容易找的了，因为很多小孩都进学校读书了。

只有todder班是还准用diaper的，其他都不能用了。

我宝宝8个月了，我还想着等宝宝再大一些就送幼儿园了，也不知道还要排队，看了你的帖子，都蒙了，都耽搁了几个月了，怎么办呢？我还计划着上学呢！我试着到网站里注册排队，我都不知道第一步该干啥?能不能给我说一下比较详细的程序。谢谢

赶紧去Centralized Waiting List注册，把能选的都选上，即使离家远，但如果在上班上学路上也可以考虑。我上面那个回帖里有连接，进去一步一步地填就行。

然后再做两手准备，开始找Home Daycare，就是私人的daycare，在自己家的，也比较困难，因为两岁一下只能有两个孩子。而且好的home daycare都是熟人介绍，很少有空位子。

1岁左右的孩子入托最难，全凭运气了。我女儿上了一年的home daycare才排上KRP，已经属于非常幸运的了。

Same for my son's daycare too, but they said they will charge the toddler rate if the child can't transition to potty after a week or so. I think preschool rate does not include diaper (if the school provides diapers).

KRP没有这个规定。Diaper反正要自己提供的。
