请教有关Secret Clearance的问题

请问各位。。。

加拿大政府的 Secret Clearance 规定是至少在加拿大居住满10年，或者有10年可以核实的背景 (10 yrs verifiable background). 我有个工作需要Secret Clearance, 但是我才有9年住在加拿大的。

请问这里有没有同志们是: 没有在加拿大住满10年，然后用中国的背景加在一起，得到这个Secret level clearance的呢？请分享一下经验！

要看你是需要哪一级的clearance。除了CISI或者National Defence一类的部门要求最高一级的clearance外，其他绝大部分部门只需要一级最多二级clearance。而这个不需要在加拿大呆十年的要求。我几年前曾拿到二级的clearance，那时我在加拿大只住了四年多。如果你申请的部门就是上面那些特殊衙门的话，就当我没说了:blowzy:

Security Assessment/Clearances

Individuals who need to have C/S/TS clearances because of their job or access to federal government assets will be required to sign the Security Clearance Form (TBS/SCT 330-60e).

• Confidential (Level I)
  • In addition to the ERS checks, foreign employments, immediate relatives, and marriages/common-law relationships must be declared and be screened.
  • This level of clearance will grant the right to access protected and classified information up to Confidential level on a need-to-know basis. Department Head have the discretion to allow for an individual to access Secret level information without higher level clearance on a case-to-case basis.
• Secret (Level II)
  • Same as Confidential.
  • This level of clearance will grant the right to access protected and classified information up to Secret level on a need-to-know basis. Department Heads have the discretion to allow for an individual to access Top Secret-level information without higher-level clearance on a case-to-case basis.
• Top Secret (Level III)
  • In addition to the checks at the Secret level, foreign travels, assets, and character references must be given. Field check will also be conducted prior to granting the clearance.
  • This level of clearance will grant the right to access all protected and classified information on a need-to-know basis.

如果是第二级，须在加住满１０年。

的确是 Secret level 的二级 Security Clearance, 但是不是CSIS /DND 那种部门。 我不是党员就回国探过亲，不知得到的机会有多大。。.. 咳~~ :blowzy:

请问这位朋友，您拿到的是二级的Secret level 吗？ 在加拿大4年之前您是住在中国在是别的国家的呢？

貌似适合rcmp要求一样，如果不是满十年的话，要查你祖宗十八代。。。

包括中国的邻居。。。

曾经有个香港仔报rcmp，虽然他是这儿土生土长的，但是很不幸的是过去的10年里有一个超过6月的period在香港度过，被rcmp查了两年问遍所有的邻居才通过。。。

Yes. You can. I got the Secret Clearance and I only lived in Canada for 7.5 years.

Secret Cleanrance (Level II). I think Leval I is Reliability Clearance.

You meant Level II? So, did you come as a high school student or were you a university student or new graduate before you came to Canada?

maybe 7.5 years in Canada, and more than 2.5 years in other country which is not China.

重新查了我的资料留底. 我2007年10月上交的材料.2008年初(3月)拿到的Level - II (Secret) Certificate. 技术移民从中国出来,不到8年.但是在申请之前5年内没有离开过加拿大.我不知道这次比较顺利是不是因为我已经在政府工作了.因为我申请公民和申请Reliability Status都验了指纹.但是我有朋友通过Agency申请的, 没到8年,也拿到了.不过被叫到了RCMP去Interview了几个小时.
