[FONT="]Neptune operates large fire-fighting aerial fixed-wing tanker airplanes nation-wide. Headquarters are located in Missoula, Montana with satellite facility in Alamogordo, New Mexico. [/FONT]
[FONT="]A successful candidate will have a strong background as a command pilot of multiengine, multi-crew airplanes operating in a low-level tactical environment. Likewise will possess credentials of an ATP fixed-wing, multi-engine certificate, with large airplane type ratings or military equivalent experience. Those applicants with an FAA multi-engine commercial-instrument certificate may also qualify, with other strong experience background. Leadership in CRM, cockpit coordination and crew-development in a tactical or search & rescue operating mission is a must. A background in training and instrument proficiency is also required.[/FONT]
[FONT="]Ideally, we seek to interview highly motivated individuals with strong command and interpersonal skills. A problem solving, and leadership record will be fundamental to this candidate’s background. This team player will be comfortable interacting with highly experienced captains, flight crews, corporate safety and management as well.[/FONT]
[FONT="]Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Director of Flight Operations (DFO) will be responsible for day to day oversight of all tanker mission safety, have fundamental oversight of flight crew training, standards, and mission safety. The chief pilot and check airmen will report to this individual. [/FONT]
