You need to call them to make sure the schedule is right.
It's better to bring your partners if you play drop-in game.

nice!!!
:)
I have a bit more information like to share.
When you get a chance to have a try-out, you need to pay attention to the following area.
1. Do you like the club's atmosphere (it may differ from fun to competitive or in between)?
2. If the average skill level matches yours or your expectation?
3. What kind of tagging/waiting system they have?

BTW, for most clubs, they are expecting potential new members with good skill set and very social.

This is the last week of the season for most badminton clubs.
If you are still interested in playing badminton afterward, you may go to the following places for drop-ins.

Soong 613-729-9940 at 1132 Fisher Avenue $8 or $5 for ODBA members.

RA Centre 613-733-5100 ext 364 $10 must be accompanied by a member.

The new season will start in two week or so.
If you haven't joined a club yet, you may find out it's already very hard and a bit late to get one.
My suggestion is that if you are seriously planning to play badminton this season, you have to start to looking for a club at once, get chance to have a try-out, play as guest if the club has room, put your name on the waiting list...
In general, a skillful player with outgoing personality will have more chance than others.
And most club will have exception for a strong female player even their membership is full.

I noticed Nepean Sportsplex (1701 Woodroffe 613-580-2828) and Hunt Club-Riverside C.C. (3320 Paul Anka 613-521-1392) have no badminton program listed on city's Recreation Guide for this Fall and Winter as they usually do.
So please give them call to see if they still have it.
