求助：HOW TO BOOT UP MY OLD COMPUTER

为了清理我的旧电脑，我将电脑的C盘进行了格式化(FORMAT C)。由於错过安装WINDOW，再开电脑时，电脑不能起动运行，进入DOS。请高手帮忙指点。先谢了！

I couldn't install Window because the computer puased at somepoint after power up. It's waiting for something, I guess.

看不懂你的意思。你要进入dos啊？还是要怎样啊？

把Windows CD放入CD drive,　关掉电脑。然后再开机。应该启动Windows Setup。

如果电脑不去自查CD drive，重新启动电脑，进入BIOS setup，设置一下。

How to setup BIOS? I have a similar problem. I used a computer to format a 20g slave drive. As a slave drive, it works. However, I changed the pins from Slave to Marster. Then, I put the drive into a computer and used XP CD and windows 98 CD to boot this drive. It doesn't work.If I used window 98 flappy disk and CD, the compter enters DOS system and check the drive. Finally, it ask me to partitition this drive. I tried several times but it failed. I want to know how to make partitoin.What kind of commend do I use? I used FDISK but it didn't work.I hope that you can give me some solutions. Thanks.

When you start your computer, watch the screen carefully. If you see a message like "press any key to start from CD rom", then press any key immediately. If you do not see this kind of messages, start your computer again, watch for messages like "F2 for BIOS setup", then you press F2 immediately and go to setup. You will need to look for the menu where you can change the boot order. Then change the boot order to boot from CD ROM first.
