我的车自从撞了以后，因为少了右前大灯和方向灯，所以一直停着没有开。昨天想起来要修，去问MECHANIC，一估价要3500刀才能拿下，我想这有点不值。所以想TRADING，那位知道有地方收旧车同时又卖车的。没有车跑不远，我问了几家附近的车行，他们都不TRADING，只有靠大伙给提供线索了。说实话，我这车保养的很好，很多东西都是新的，公里数也不是很高，现在卖了肯定不值几个钱，不卖，修理费又太高，真是吃鸡肋，食之无味，弃之不舍。各位帮个忙，有什么建议。THANKS ADVANCE

You can just change the head light and signal light yourself. If the light box is still good enough, buy a right light (go to Canadiantire store, and tell them your car year and brand, they tell you what kind of light you need). Usually $9.99 for each head light, and only $0.99 for signal light ball. You can take off the screws of light holder, and unplug the old light, replace with new light. If the light box is damaged, go to used part garage to buy the box first. for $3,500 you can buy another car, not just two lights. Good luck.

If the body is still good, you may buy used parts from Auto Recycles House. Say, mechanical store asks for $3500, I guess you could do it by yourself less than $1000. However, if the supportive parts for lights have been damaged, it will take you a lot of work. Good luck.

事实上，我的车右前部撞得的确蛮狠，大灯，指示灯没有了，BUNPER，HOOD，和FENDER都变形了，但机器一点也没有坏，当时是401上出的事，我仍旧把车开了回来，又让机械师检查了车，主体没有问题，就是车现在太难看了，呲牙咧嘴的，而且即使我对外观无所谓，但是自己在缺少工具的情况下，更换上述部件不知从何做起。光修外观让我花3500刀？不甘心，不甘心。

只换灯，其他别管了。修车身主要费人工，所以修理费特别贵。只要车能开，难看点就难看点吧。换灯要不了什么工具，有螺丝刀就足够了。

感谢大伙的热心帮助。另外还有一个问题，CANISTER（就在右大灯后面，叫滤毒罐）好象是用来滤汽油或废气中毒的，对排气质量有一定影响。我的车这玩意也是上次被撞坏了，我一恼火把它给扔了，事后我开车回来时感到没有什么不同，不知道是否一定要换。再谢各位。

交通灯是美国来的?

安省只有买卖车时要安全检查,没有"年审"一说.目前渥太华地区车辆还不要求通过废气检查,但半年后有可能立法要求每两年查一次废气.

看了大伙的帖子，心中平添一股豪气，车就自己修了！再难看自己在车里开反正看不见，无所谓了。另外，如果那位朋友正在学修车，想多找些车下手长点经验，可以和：CXIAOYANG@HOTMAIL.COM联系，我们可以一起把它“修理”一番。

The trouble is that even you fix it and run well, your insurance company will not continue their policy. They will ask you to provide photos from each angle to show the car is totally fixed (including her body). Otherwise, next time you had another accident, no one can tell the damage come from the current one or previous one. Talk to your insurance company first before doing any major repair, unless you want to drive a non-insured car (which is illegal in Ontario). Good luck. (body work need more skills and experience, not like changing a light ball.)

车修好了，全是自己一手弄，长了很多的见识和经验，一句话，车完全是可以自己修的，只要不是坏在发动机，变速箱这些不好拆卸的地方（其实要有可靠的工具，一样可以自己修）。另外换皮带，水泵，蓄电池，排气管等也可以自己动手。总之，对车身的损伤，对外观的修复，自己动手吧，省很多钱，长很多见识，值得。如果有谁的车想修，需要人帮忙，我愿意出力（不用担心，免费，而且有工具-就是这次修车卖的，也算固定资产）。我的EMAIL地址不变。
