急问（关于续签）！！！

正在给父母办续签，请问是否可以直接申请续一年？还是只能六个月？有没有申请一年成功的例子？（他们共来过三次，也续签过，记录良好）谢谢！

I tried 9 months for my mother and got approved. I also heard people got 1 year extension. You may just put one year in and the CIC officer makes the final decision.

半年，九个月，一年均可。连续住两年及四年的都有先例。

Actually no matter how long your parents can stay(paper just tells the term as normal), but matter with you should let them believe the reason why your parents need to stay so long.
