Triaspora

The acclaimed musicians of the Orchid Ensemble join forces with choreographer/dancers Chengxin Wei and Jessica Jone of Moving Dragon to perform an exquisite blend of dance, music and multimedia. Triaspora uses gorgeous choreography, eclectic virtuoso instrumentalism and stunning multimedia to explore the Chinese-Canadian immigrant experience. contemporary, from ancient Chinese string band music to bluegrass, folk, and jazz fusion. Led by Mei Han, a groundbreaking virtuoso on the Chinese zheng, with special guest mandolin player John Reischman. Tickets also available at door.
