PV has been attracting much attention and investment during the period where oil is in high demand and the so-called "peak oil" period.

But since energy market is extremely responsive to demand, unless you have enough confidence in a soon rebound of global economy, be cautious.

I'd also like to add to the very important fact that a lot of the PV R&D companies are transferring from production to IP. If you'd like to do anything, be sure to do your research so patent laws don't get to you by surprise.
