If I buy a lot (50*100) with a poor small house (around $300,000) in city, a good location, and build a new around 1600-2000 sf house:
(1) cost for turn down the poor house and clean the site?
(2) cost to build new home?
(3) is it easy to get construction permision from city?
(4) is it possible to get construction permission to build 2 semi house
(one for sale oner for living)?
(5) Which builder will like to take this small project?

I am hunting the house and find: new singhe house in town is very expensive, even semi, and town-house is over 450,000 and very small lot (less than 2500 sf). old house in town are mostly very poor, old style.
