Job Description:
Solace’s Quality Assurance (QA) organization is looking for a motivated individual to work as part of our world-class Engineering team. As part of the Solace QA organization you will:
- Develop software that utilizes and validates cutting-edge, market-leading products involving the latest hardware and software technologies.
- Interact with architecture, product marketing, sales engineering, hardware design, and software design teams to define test strategies and plans.
- Design and code sophisticated automated test suites that optimize efficiency and test coverage.
- Measure performance to find system bottlenecks and to validate market-leading performance.
- Work closely with the customer support team to provide top-notch customer service.
Qualifications:
Experience in the following areas would be beneficial:
- Messaging and message-oriented middleware technologies -- Java Messaging Service (JMS), TIBCO Rendezvous, IBM Websphere
- IP routing and forwarding – Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP), Gigabit Ethernet
- Linux OS and tools
- Multi-threaded, high performance software development
- One or more of the following programming/scripting languages – Java, C, TCL, C# (.NET)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to make a strong contribution to a quickly advancing product/market.
- An electrical/software engineering or computer science degree
