Settle for smaller Japanese car ba. I had a standard Suzuki hatchback years ago, paid a little over 8000 for a brand new car and sold it for 200 bucks after 300,000 km. It was pretty much trouble-free.

That was years ago, perhaps in 1990 or 91 (around the time of the Gulf War) when Suzuki first introduced Swift hatchback to the Canadian market. The money I saved on fuel could have paid for this car.
