关于猪流感的几个问题

这次猪流感爆发，除了伊拉克屠宰了一些野生猪以为，为什么墨西哥、美国、加拿大没有发生大规模屠宰生猪呢？而禽流感爆发时曾经屠宰了数以万计的家禽呢？

难道是以下原因？

1、养猪成本高，屠宰生猪农场主损失太大？
2、养猪利润高，税收也大，政府不支持屠宰生猪？
3、养猪雇用劳动力多，很多工人会失业？


有没有其它原因？

另外，世界卫生组织忙不迭地要改“猪流感”为“北美流感”，似乎是为了保护养猪产业。

Chicken flu has very high death rate but it can only transfered between chicken-human. So slaughing affected chikcens can control the speading.

This new Swine flu is new in that it mainly transferred bettwen human-human fast. So slaughting those affected pigs will not solve any issues

No body is eating beef during the Mad Cow decease outbreak, and now they have no problem eating porks with the Swine Flu?
