今晨1男子架SUV撞上桥墩,174高速关闭

deadly early-morning crash has resulted in the closure of Hwy. 174 at Jeanne D'arc in Orleans, causing major traffic headaches in the area.

The crash occurred underneath the Jeanne D'Arc overpass sometime around 4 a.m. and police have shut the highway in both directions while they conduct their investigation. Traffic is severely backed up in the area as vehicles are routed off the highway around the overpass using the on and off-ramps at Jeanne D'arc.

Yup, it caught fire. It happend earlier at about 4:00am. It could be that the driver fell asleep.

Terrible accident. The driver had no chance in this case.

The only positive side: it hit the concret pillar instead of another innocent vehicle.
