请教车库自动门

最近想买个车库自动门,去商场看了有三种类型,CHAIN DRIVE, BELT DRIVE, SCREW DRIVE,想问问哪种比较好?谢谢

They all work same and all good. CHAIN DRIVE has bigest market shareand oldest. Other two types are quieter than the chain drive. (questionable since most noise is from the door itself, only portion of noise is caused by chain) So the desicion is what you like. If there is a bedroom over the garage, I go for a belt drive.

It is not questionable for the noise. A chain drive is way much noisier than belt drive. The door itself does make noice, but compared to the noise made by the opener itself, it is trivial.

Installed two from Canadian Tier and Sears

The baterry of the remote control from CT needs changes twice a year, and one from Sears has not had change for 6 years. I installed the one from Sears first, then bought the one from CT because it was $30 less. I am so sad of saving the $30.

I installed a Sears opener too. The chain does make some noise and I think next time I would go for a belt drive. I have not changed batteries in my remote and keypad yet.

my one is chain too. It makes noise. b/c we has a one bedroom above the garage.

我的是CHAIN的。就在卧室正下方。开门10来秒的时间，那点NOISE可以忽略不计了

I used sears chain drive openers before and now use belt drive. The noise is smaller with belt drive. I never need to change batteries for the pass 6 years for the remote, still works fine, might be a bit shorter in distance.
