BEIJING, China?omegrown technology TD-SCDMA will be one of the major beneficiaries of the Chinese government plan to spend $84.6 billion for research and development.
Fixed-line carriers China Telecom and China Netcom are expected to adopt the technology, according to industry sources. ?he past five years can be regarded as the best period for science and technology development in Chinese history,?said science minister Xu Guanhua.
