SCALAR WAVES
Scalar waves is now gaining popularity in research partly due to the 'strange' phenomena that Maxwellian formulae 'left' out.
The electromagnetic (EM) interrelated transverse waveforms of (Ampere) electricity and (Faraday) magnetism was conjoined together by Maxwell into today's widely used Maxwell Electromagnetism. It can be said that Maxwellian theory about electromagnetism was initiated by magnetism CREATED BY electricity (moving electrons).
Scalar waves is more about the dipoles of magnetism (attraction/repulsion) creating LONGITUDINAL WAVES (much like sound waves) which create electrical discharges. So you can see Scalar Waves is actually NOT electromagnetic as 'electromagnetism' is understood.
IN SUMMARY:
SCALAR WAVES (scalar field) is magnetism first and electricity second.
ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES (electromagnetic field) is electricity first and magnetism second.
