一篇写渥太华华人的小说[推荐]

偶而在明日出版网看到一篇写渥太华移民的小说，有兴趣的去看看。

actually, we all know what kind of most chinese live
in this beautiful city.

anyway, it is not bad to read it, though I have no patience.

Just finished reading the book, well written, worth the time.

It's too long. Kind of boring too especially the love story of those women. The canadian husbend is the standard sterotyped canadian in most of Chinese BBS . The whole story is not very creative.

Great story!!! It seems like a true story. For cheater, he deserve that ending. I think there are many "Nancy" kind girl in Canada. We were together just by convinence. There's no use or by use. Once we figure out it was just the dessert to our life, it is not important anymore. I really hope girls such as "Nancy" deserve a better guy.

I finaly scan over the whole story. Most of the stories seems to be from News and BBS. For example, He Fang's prototy is the lady who sold her company to JDS and started another one in States. She like Ottawa so much that she named the new complany as Dow's Lake. She had her PHD in France. I don't think her personal life is any close to the story though. The author is pretty good when the story only developed inside Chinese. However, whenever the story involved Canadian culture, the story start to be a cliche, and I feel like reading a Chinese BBS at that time. It makes the story quite weak.
Just my two cents.

比如说，2001年的春天这个“北方硅谷”忽然拉起了红色警报，何芳
当年被 JDS (忘了小说里叫什么了) 收购时拿到的股票半年之内缩水了9成。。
NANCY也不幸下岗了，一边在家发简历一边上WWW。COMEFROMCHINA。COM，
和一个叫北京BOY的小伙。。
曹家文混得还不错，还是经常给 NANCY 打电话，同时与何芳也是不温不火。。?
在这2002年情人节到来之际。。。
老万的生意越做越大，手里的小留学生很多，万太太利用这曾关系， 大大发展传销
下线，房子也 PAY 完了。。?

强烈同意A2Z的意见,我感动得都快哭了.
但要有文笔好的人出手才不会破坏了这篇小说的"宁静",所谓宁静就是说不象聊天室里
这么乱轰轰的,人人都和人人有仇一样.
要不干脆来个绝的,把comefromchina论坛精华版充当续集.
