我在联邦政府工作。 五年前申请到室内停车位，每月停车费100多。HR的 Pay advicer告诉我会从每月我的工资扣除 (有email为证)。 一直都不怎么看paystub, 以为Payroll是不会有问题的。 最近发现停车费(合$6000多) 一直没有扣除。请教各位，雇主有权追诉五年的停车费用吗？ 如果我自首，雇主因其失误给我带来的Hardship，我能否讨个说法？:blowzy:

人们过日子不都是有budgeting吗？ 因为每月他们该拿走的钱不拿，在不知情的情况下，让我给花掉了。 如果现在让我一次性负清，不应该算是hardship 吗？

Honestly , I only check the net amount. I never check the deductions in details.

这种情况下，你如果去＂自首＂，很有可能你不须补交过去的欠款，因为那不是你的责任／过错。

如果要你补交，你可以说你没有那个预算，争取免掉。即便补交，你不应该接受一笔还清，你可以要求按月补交回去。

You should discuss it with your employer asap.

If you dont tell them,

case 1, nothing happen, they don't care.

case 2, if they find it later and they are serious. They will give the debt to a collection agency. It will injure your credit score for 7 yrs and you can't dispute such debt (unless you dont care your credit). And like you said, it's 6000 dollars matter, they will take you to the small claim court.

Case 2 is totally irrelevant. I am not sure if you understood the situation quite well.

-Revenue Canada cannot even retrieve taxes that have not been asked over 7 years.

-Most Companies have financial policies of collecting fees retroactively for only one year.

-By law, large entities such as the Federal government of Canada are not allowed to use the small court to sue an individual.

-They donot need to find a collection agency because they are the one who issues my pay cheques.

1，错误由财务部门造成。

2, 从协商日子起，如果需要继续停车，须补交2个月停车费 ($200)。

3，如放弃停车位，则不须补交任何费用。(注：停车位很紧张， 要等3年才能等到)
