去CARLETON理的书店吧,一进门就会看到一堆EROTIC NOVEL放在那边,买一点回家看吧,对于英文很有长进

我是因为图书馆里书太多，但是又良莠不齐，龙蛇混杂，时间有限，所以想先从名著读起。

I suggest you try some more recent books. The English used in the above books is not the same as we use today. And the stories are so old and far away from our real life. If you are not interested about the stories, how painful it will be to read the English version?

This website gives some lists of great modern English novels. Try to read the ones that you enjoy both the story and the style. I'd like to recommand "the Great Gatesby".

Read best-sellers is also a good idea. Although they ae not that "classic", but the stories are attractive and the language is easy. There are so many choices, you can always find your favorites.
