I downloaded before, I just checked the sun website, sun discontinued the Solaris 8(intel) download recently, you can order(45US$+shipping). Check http://www.sun.com/software/solaris/binaries/get.html for detailed information.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Too many download requests might ruin their servers. So they decided only provide the downloads for SPARC version.
I jut wanted to borrow a set of media kit and burn my own CDs. Is this OK or forbidden by the license agreement?

For non-commercial and under 8 servers is fine.

so I did not try it.
but I tried red hat 7.1, that is good.
