Just want to share my terrible experience with Purolator
I sent an document to ShangHai, China on Nov. 13, 2002 through Purolator, which promised me that the mail would be delievered within 3 to 5 business days. But after 16 days, the mail was returned back to me because they cannot understand the Chinese on the form. How funny ! I have printed the city name and country name in English and I even printed my cell phone on the form (you have to fill in this delivery form), and now they sent me a bill to charge for this returned mail. The funniest thing is I sent another mail with the Purolater just a week ago(November 6, 2001) to the same receiver and same address, and this mail arrived on Nov. 9, 2001.
I later sent this returned mail through UPS and it arrived only 3 days later.
So be careful when you deal with these Canadian crown companies next time. If you want to send some urgent documents (like air tickets etc) never go with Purolater, go with FedEx or UPS. (Personally I prfer UPS, who helped me move my several boxes of books and other stuff from Halifax to Ottawa).

Just one more addition: I only wrote the street address and numbers in Chinese, and Purolater said I SHOULD print everything in English. Idiots !
 
never try purolator I had the same experience.

Yes, I did as you said, but .... what can I say ?
 
我过去常用Purolator邮寄我的商务信件, 直到去年他们丢失了我的一份重要邮件, 我试过他们的CUSTOMER SERVICE, 我恐怕几年内, 不会再和他们做生意了.
