Usually no need a 中央控湿. 1st and upstairs are not in a high humidity. You just need a humidity meter and a humidifier at your basement.

A humidity meter: a few dollars; and a humidifier: one hundred to a few hundred dollars.

我是想把湿度冬天控制在40%, 夏天控制在50%, 觉得中央控湿会比较方便.

前几年实际湿度情况是:冬天30%, 夏天(特别是雨季)70-80%(使用空调可以控制到50%左右). 冬天使用了增湿器, 可能比较小, 每天要往里面添水, 效果也不明显, 而且风扇噪音很大, 如果买超声波的话, 好点的都要$300以上, 也只不过是局部有效. 夏天的话, 客厅和地下室都需要抽湿, 如果买两个好点的抽湿器的话, 价格也要$500以上了, 而且两个机器又占地方又不美观.
