The Philips 23" LCD looks pretty decent. It has all 3 input options (DVI, HDMI, and VGA), built in speakers, and a 4-year warranty. TigerDirect currently offers $6.99 shipping on orders over $200 and under 20lbs, so if you ordered the monitor, you would just need to add a small item to qualify. We found an Ultra Neck Strap/Lanyard (for USB drives) for $1.99 which would do the trick.

Both of the Motorola cellular phones offer quad-band support. They may not have as many bells and whistles as, say, a smartphone, but they're certainly capable. If you travel a lot, either phone could be used internationally. At these prices, it wouldn't be the end of the world were something to happen to them, either.
