Skill Requirements:
Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Experience: 1 - 2 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English, Other:
Cantonese, Mandarin and/or Vietnamese
Area of Specialization: Assembly
Type of Work Experience: Hands-on assembly or fabrication
Type of Product Specialization: Assemblies
Type of Inspection or Testing Specialization: Assemblies
Specific Skills: Install, mount, fasten, align and adjust parts, components, wiring and harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies
Generic Skills: Working with others (ex., work with individual or team; build consensus), Speaking and listening skills (ex., communicate clearly and effectively; follow directions; mediate disputes)
Other Information: West-end customer (Kanata) requires 10 people to perform basic surface mount, coupling and harnessing activities. Due to nature of instructions coming from their customers candidates must be able to understand Cantonese, Mandarin and/or Vietnamese. Previous experience is a must. Quote file # JB-EPA
