What you do
As a researcher for the Radio Canada International's Chinese unit, you will research, propose and develop content in keeping with the mandate of general programming and with corporate standards and policies.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
- Bachelor's or equivalent.
- Two years' relevant experience.
- Extensive general knowledge.
- Very good knowledge of current events.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
- Good knowledge of Canadian culture.
- Good knowledge of one of the two official languages (English or French).
- Very good knowledge of research tools and techniques.
- Public broadcasting experience.
- Good knowledge of international labour migration and its logistics.
- An active contact network within immigration organizations.
- On-air presence.
- Experience working on a team
- Strong ability to adapt and handle stress
Candidates may be subject to skills testing.
For reference purposes, this is a one-year contract position (renewable).
