陋习种种。

最近这里讨论陋习的帖子很多。但我觉得争论无益，还伤感情。所以，不如大家把各种陋习开列出来。愿意的人，可以对照尽量避免。
1。公共场合，不要大声喧哗。
2。Hold the door for next person if he/she is close to you. If somebody hold door for you, show your thanks.
3. Try to speak English if other non-Chinese present, especially at workplace (you can argue).
4. Try to take shower everday, especially workday.

1. bus: window sit, sit properly
2: bus: no sitting where old and pregnant sit, even no other sits available. give seat to the old and pregnant if they are standing
3. bus: when get in, say hello/bonjour, how are you/comment sa va. when get off: say thanks/merci, don't work too hard, mister/maam
4. bus stop: wait in the end of the line, get onto the bus the last one
5. smoking butt into butt-stop or garbage can(make it gone out)
6. never litter anything , take it with you until you find a garbage can.
7, elevator: standing on the right to make the left way for others to pass, stand properly
8. push the door behind you for others.
9: no eating in the lab. no eating noise.
10. supermarket: if you have a lot of stuff to pay, alway give priority to the ppl behind with less stuff

I'd like to put this into "nice to have". I think the basic rule is "first come, first serve." If you let other person in front you (like with less items, senior person), you are nice. But if you don't, you're not rude.

Based on your post, I believe you're a nice guy.
